London, England, Big Ben

Thinking of London and the terror attacks over the weekend. My wife and I have visited several times, the first being on our honeymoon. For the occasion, I wanted to go someplace I’ve never been with no language barrier and London was the destination. Little did I realize, I would love the place. Imagine…buildings older than my country. I’m not only referring to government and historical buildings like the Tower of London or Parliament. When visiting Arundel, a small town south of London, I had lunch in an inn that was 400 years old. Wow.

London

Parliament, London, England, Big Ben, Great Britain

London has been one of my favorite places to visit. (It was easier years ago when things were cheaper.) I love sitting across from Parliament on a bench on The Queen’s Walk and looking at the Westminster Bridge, the Parliament Building and Big Ben. And it’s especially beautiful in the evening.
