Many folks know about the El Capitan in Yosemite National Park in California,
but…..there’s another one in Arizona. It’s on Rte 163 between Kayenta, AZ and Monument Valley.
Have no idea which one was named first, but both are beautiful.
The Navajo Nation is home to Monument Valley. One of the most beautiful places
and backdrop for countless movies – John Ford’s “The Searchers, “Back to the Future III” –
to name a few. I visited in 2006 and will be returning this summer.
Sunset on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park.
Somewhere in Wyoming on a trip out west,
these folks were On the Road!
In 2006 I finally made the trip to Monument Valley. I have wanted to visit for years.
It is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. I arrived early and captured a sunrise image
of my son and daughter surrounded by the incredible beauty of the Valley.
Alien visitors. Are they amongst us?
Are they shopping at Walmart?
Online at Amazon?
What do you believe?

on a motorcycle and dreaming about Monument Valley.
I know it’s where I’d rather be.
Devils Tower, Wyoming. When I first saw this unusual mountain,
it was in the classic sic-fi movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”.
I thought the mountain was a movie prop. Little did I know……it’s real!
